Swim Jersey® is cover's own specially constructed fabric made of highly opaque recycled microfibers. Cover's fabric is certified Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex, meaning it has been laboratory tested by the third party to be free from hundreds of harmful chemicals. The UPF 50+ certification means that it blocks over 98% of UV rays. Since the sun protection is physical (not chemical), Cover will keep you covered, even with daily wears and washes. Get your Cover sunsuit damp, and it will actually keep you cool under the hot sun. Our patterns and artist prints are made in Los Angeles via eco-friendly, zero-waste sublimation heat transfer printing.

Cover produces 100% of their garments in a single Los Angeles factory. Lisa was their first client about eight years ago. Paying their production team well for their careful artistry is extremely important to Lisa. She is committed to doing her part to keep the art and skill of clothing manufacturing alive and healthy at home in the United States. She has a long-standing, trusting relationship with the awesome production manager and factory owner. Production is the backbone of Cover.

We size in line with clothing, not with the rest of the swimwear market. Please order the size you would choose in a bodysuit or fitted t-shirt. Our bathing suits are more fitted than the swim t-shirts. Please size down in the shirts if you are looking for a more body-conscious fit. We make everything with longer sleeves and slightly longer bodies. If you are between sizes, order based on height. We suggest considering sizing down if 5'5" or shorter and sizing up if 5'8" or taller.

Bella (5'8" 34B/26.5/40) is wearing a size medium in the short-sleeved bathing suit, a size small in the scallop cut swim t-shirt and a size medium in the leggings. Cali (5'10" 38DD/35/48) is wearing a size extra large in the short-sleeved bathing suit, scallop cut swim t-shirt and leggings.

We spent about two years in research and development trying to build in a perfect support system but weren't happy with the trials. Lisa actually swims in her best fitting nylon bra, as she says it provides her favorite shape and best support. We recommend you do that same if you need support. We even linked to our favorite brand, kit undergarments, on our collabs page. It works perfectly so just #layerit.
